A useful comparison keeps both prices honest and every unknown visible.
Use your actual China product quote and a genuinely comparable local offer. Add only the costs that belong to each option, mark unresolved items and compare delivery, assembly, warranty and returns as well as money. CBM cannot predict the product price or prove a saving.

You can compare a known-cost subtotal, but do not label it a final landed cost while packing, delivery or customs scope remains unresolved. The planning sheet tells you which freight basis was used and what needs a single enquiry. A difference between incomplete totals is not a verified saving.
The public route amount is DDP base freight. An ordinary-duty reference, if available and supportable, is shown to explain customs rather than added again to the same route price. Ask for the final written scope of any special taxes, measures or exceptions; do not invent a tax percentage from cargo volume.
Check product specifications, warranty support, replacement parts, assembly, lead time and the practical cost of a return. These can make two visually similar products different purchases. A freight quote does not verify product quality, authenticity or the seller's after-sales service.
Send the two actual product offers, the destination and the packing information available. Ask which shipping and delivery costs are still missing. The review should explain a lawful cost change, if one is available; it cannot promise savings by changing a real value or misdescribing goods.
