THE LAST PART OF THE ROUTE

Delivery to your address is not the same as delivery into your room.

The truck, the crate and the property must fit the same plan.

Direct answer

Before booking, agree on the named delivery point and who unloads. Residential access, appointment, tail-lift, forklift or crane, carrying-in, stairs, assembly and packaging removal are separate questions. The DDP base estimate does not automatically include all of them.

01

Start with the biggest and heaviest package

Send its outer dimensions, gross weight and packing photo when available. Add access notes: road restrictions, a safe stopping point, slope, driveway surface, gates, steps and the planned unloading area. A postcode checks an area; it does not show whether a vehicle or crate can safely reach the property.

03

A tail-lift is not a universal answer

Suitability depends on the packed dimensions, weight, load characteristics, equipment and site conditions. Do not choose a method from weight alone. A large window or stone crate may require a different unloading plan and destination professionals to confirm it.

04

Make the delivery scope match the quote

Ask whether the written price ends at curbside, another named accessible point or an expressly agreed indoor location. Keep required extras marked single enquiry until confirmed. The operating team's review is necessary, but does not replace equipment instructions, a competent lifting assessment or local site safety obligations.

Questions before you commit

Does door-to-door include unloading and assembly?

Not automatically. The named delivery point, unloading equipment, carrying-in, assembly and packaging removal must be stated in the accepted written scope.

Work out the shipping. Or work it out with us.

Send a product link and destination. We’ll check suitability, identify missing facts and list the charges that need review before a written quote. Inspect your WhatsApp draft before sending.
