PACKING ANSWER

Product size is not packed size.

A chair may nest, a sofa may lose its legs, and a fragile panel may gain a crate. The freight calculation needs the result after packing.

Direct answer

Use final outer carton or crate dimensions whenever available. If the supplier only provides product dimensions, label them clearly and treat the resulting CBM as incomplete rather than applying a universal packing uplift.

01

What you need

  • Product dimensions
  • Packing method
  • Final outer dimensions
  • Package count and gross weight
02

What this decides

  • Which measurements are confirmed
  • Whether disassembly changes volume
  • Whether protective packing creates an oversize piece
03

Boundary

Foshan Cargo does not pretend a fixed percentage can predict every supplier's carton or crate.
