CBM CALCULATOR

Calculate the space the shipment actually occupies.

CBM is based on outer package dimensions, not the product's catalogue measurements.

Direct answer

For centimetres, multiply each package's outer length × width × height × its total box count and divide by 1,000,000, then add the package groups. If one product comes in several boxes, include all of them. Product quantity scales the complete package set once, not again after the total box count is calculated.

01

No supplier packing list yet?

Before buying, choose individual sofa, bed-frame or dining-table examples from the home-page reference library. Their published complete package sets can support a labelled planning volume. They are not your supplier's confirmed packing or a universal packing factor.

02

Keep products and packages separate

Illustrative example: a product has two identical cartons and you want three products. Count six cartons once. Do not multiply by three again after entering the six-carton total. A different-size accessory box is another package group, not a reason to omit it.

03

Use the outside of the final protection

Confirm whether the measurements include cartons, crates and pallets. A reference excludes additional export protection unless its inclusion list says otherwise. CBM alone does not confirm gross weight, route suitability, packing strength or a tax amount.
