CHARGEABLE WEIGHT

Compare the cargo's space with its actual weight.

The base route uses a supported chargeable-weight method, not whichever number is lower.

Direct answer

For the current sea-service planning routes, volume-based weight is packed CBM × 1,000,000 ÷ 6000. When the full gross weight is known, use the rounded-up higher weight. When only some package weights are known, retain their subtotal and compare it with volume-based weight provisionally; do not treat the missing weights as zero or the subtotal as a complete total.

Try the calculation

Compare volume with gross weight

Planning chargeable weight—

Higher of gross weight or CBM × 1,000,000 ÷ 6000, rounded up.

Packing status is still unconfirmed. Continue with these numbers, or ask us to check them.
